Our Programs Pragati Youth Organisation Banahatti implements community-focused programs aimed at empowering youth, women, and marginalized communities while promoting sustainable development in Karnataka, especially in Bagalkot district and surrounding regions. * Youth Empowerment & Leadership Development This program nurtures leadership, confidence, and social responsibility among youth. Through leadership workshops, personality development sessions, youth exchange programs, and awareness camps, we encourage young people to actively participate in social development, governance, and nation-building. Special focus is given to rural youth, students, and unemployed young adults. * Education Support & Career Guidance We work to improve access to quality education and career opportunities for children and youth from economically weaker backgrounds. Our initiatives include career guidance seminars, scholarship awareness, exam preparation support, digital literacy training, and distribution of educational materials. The program aims to reduce school dropouts and promote higher education and employability. * Women Empowerment & Skill Development This program focuses on strengthening women’s social and economic independence. We provide skill development training such as tailoring, handicrafts, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and self-employment support. Awareness sessions on women’s rights, health, nutrition, and government welfare schemes help women and adolescent girls become confident, informed, and self-reliant. * Health, Nutrition & Wellness Awareness Pragati Youth Organisation conducts health and wellness programs to promote preventive healthcare. Activities include health camps, nutrition awareness, mental health and stress management sessions, yoga programs, hygiene and sanitation drives, and lifestyle disease awareness. Priority is given to women, children, senior citizens, and youth. * Clean Village – Green Village & Environment Protection This initiative promotes environmental responsibility and sustainable living. Activities include cleanliness drives, plastic-free campaigns, tree plantation, water conservation awareness, waste management education, and eco-friendly practices. Community participation is encouraged to create cleaner, greener, and healthier villages. * Jal Jagran Abhiyan (Water Conservation Campaign) Under Jal Jagran Abhiyan, we raise awareness on water conservation and sustainable water management. Programs include school and community awareness sessions, rainwater harvesting promotion, protection of local water bodies, and campaigns highlighting the importance of water security in drought-prone regions. * Rural Development & Community Capacity Building This program supports holistic rural development by strengthening community institutions and leadership. Activities include awareness on government schemes, livelihood promotion, village-level planning, and capacity-building workshops. Our goal is to empower communities to identify challenges and implement sustainable local solutions. * Social Awareness & Government Scheme Outreach We organize awareness campaigns on social issues such as substance abuse prevention, road safety, voter awareness, digital safety, and social justice. The organization also supports communities in accessing government welfare schemes related to education, health, housing, pensions, and livelihoods. * Disaster Relief & Humanitarian Support During natural disasters and emergencies, Pragati Youth Organisation provides humanitarian assistance through food kits, essential supplies, and relief materials.
